Rick Simpson - discoverer of the famous "HEMP OIL" home has been raided

Rick Simpson's Home Raided/Seized last night.

I heard via email last night that Rick Simpson's home was raided, and possibly that his house was seized by "the feds" but I have not been able to accurately verify this as a fact yet.
When I tried to call last night, there was no answer, but this does not neccessarily mean anything either way, as I expected that Rick was still in Europe, and if I am correct, this explains why there has been no talk of Rick being arrested floating about.

Common sense dictates that--according to the usual train of events--an article appeared about Rick Simpson in a US magazine (High Times, January 2010 issue--on newsstands NOW!) and shortly afterwards, a Canadian residence is raided, or a Canadian is "busted" for whatever the US DEA decrees.
It's long past the time when we can say that Canada has any sovereignty left...if we bow to whatever whim of the US government without even the slightest mention of the truth of the situation.
While this is still "only a rumour" at present, it still sickens me that the Canadian government completely ignores the will of the Canadian People, in favour of doing the bidding of whatever political agenda that the US Government dictates for Canada, and Canadians.
Update: 5:30 PM I have been told that Rick is indeed still on the European tour, and that he has been notified of what's happened in his absence through a call from one of his neighbours. This appears to be a true story...however pathetic and crooked it proves the US and Canadian government to be...

- Just want to let Everyone know, while Rick I are out of our countries and together, Rick's Home in Novia Scotia Canada Has been Raided, and if not already, Will Be Seized.
Rick is now an official "Refugee" and Full Political Protections are underway. We intend to do Everything we can to keep Rick Safe and Free as his work is greatly needed by and for ALL Humanity.
Rick Has been named offically as "Freedom Fighter of the Year". Prayers are encouraged for his safety, his freedom, and his desires to continue his mission - saving Lives. This travesty should NOT have happened, especially Now. I'll keep you updated as to our progress and success. Blessings to Rick and Jack! Peace -
